Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to studio bookings and services supplied by Silkcrayon Ltd (company no. 12741308).
Bookings
A booking is secured when the required payment is successfully completed or approved studio credit is applied. The booked start and end time define the studio time reserved for you.
Rescheduling, cancellation & no-shows
Our Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these terms. One free reschedule is available with more than 48 hours’ notice; 24–48 hour cancellations receive studio credit; under 24 hours is non-refundable; no-shows forfeit the booking value.
Late arrival
Sessions end at the original booked finish time even if the artist or guests arrive late.
Guests & young people
A booked artist may bring up to four guests. Anyone under 16 must attend with a responsible adult.
Conduct
No smoking, vaping, cannabis or illegal drugs are permitted on the premises. Threatening, abusive or unsafe behaviour is not accepted. We may end a session where behaviour creates a safety, legal or operational risk. Customers may be responsible for loss caused by deliberate or reckless damage.
Creative content
The No Harmful Music Policy forms part of these terms. Silkcrayon may refuse or stop work that breaches that policy.
Studio Finish
Studio Finish costs £60 per song unless another price is agreed in writing. Delivery is within 7 days and includes one revision. Work or revisions outside the agreed scope may incur further charges, which will be agreed before additional work is undertaken.
Files
Silkcrayon retains studio project/session files for up to 12 months after the session. This is not a permanent backup service. Customers are responsible for retaining their own masters and important files.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.
